15 Years in Commodities Research
Daniel began his career in commodities research at a regional financial services firm, where he covered energy and metals markets for institutional clients. Over the following decade, he developed deep expertise in precious metals — analysing the supply and demand dynamics that drive gold, silver, platinum and palladium prices. His work has spanned macroeconomic analysis, central bank policy impacts, mining supply data, industrial demand forecasting and retail investor sentiment tracking.
Before joining SD Bullion, Daniel spent several years providing independent commodities research, with a particular focus on the physical bullion market. His transition to SD Bullion was driven by a belief that retail precious metals buyers deserve the same quality of market analysis that institutional investors receive. At SD Bullion, he brings that institutional-grade perspective to content designed for individual investors building and managing physical metals portfolios.
