Step 1: Sign In to Your Account
Navigate to the SD Bullion account page and sign in with your registered email address and password. If you created your account during checkout, use the same credentials you set at that time. First-time visitors who placed an order by phone can create an account using the email address associated with their order.
Step 2: Go to Order History
Once signed in, navigate to the Order History section of your account dashboard. All orders are listed chronologically with the most recent at the top. Each entry shows the order number, date, total amount and current status.
Step 3: Select Your Order
Click on the order number you want to track. The order detail page displays the full breakdown: items ordered, per-ounce price, payment method, shipping address and current processing status. Statuses include Pending Payment, Processing, Shipped and Delivered.
Step 4: View USPS Tracking
For orders with "Shipped" status, a USPS tracking number is displayed on the order detail page. Click the tracking number to view real-time delivery progress on the USPS website. SD Bullion ships exclusively via insured USPS Registered Mail, which provides the highest security level in the postal system with documented chain-of-custody at every handoff point.
Step 5: Confirm Delivery
USPS Registered Mail requires signature at delivery. Your tracking will show "Delivered" once the signature is obtained. If you see a delivery attempt notice, you may need to schedule redelivery or pick up at your local post office. Verify the contents of your package immediately upon receipt.
